Saturday, December 14, 2013 - McCauley Mountain Ski Center will be opening for the winter ski season, conditions permitting.

December 21: Winter Solstice Party

December – April: Closed on Tuesdays (will be open for holiday-weeks: Tuesday, December 31, 2013 and Tuesday, February 18, 2014)

December - April: Crazy Fridays. $12 lift tickets (Excludes Holiday Weeks, 12/26/13 & 2/21/14)

December – April: Ski with Your Kids, Mon. – Thurs. 2 – 4:15 pm. for $5. (Excludes Holiday Weeks)  (Parents must be accompanied by kids)

January 1, 2014: Polar Bear Ski Club Biathlon New Years Resolution Race

January 4: Polar Bear Ski Club JNQ, NYSSRA and Bill Koch Youth Races.

January 5: Polar Bear Ski Club JNQ, NYSSRA and Bill Koch Youth Races.

January 19: Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser.  Come out and support the Polar Bear Ski Club from 5:30 to 7:30pm or until it's gone.  Eat in or take out. $8 per meal for $25 per family.

January 19: Après Ski Party with Live Music 3 – 6 pm. Night Skiing on Playmate and Cross-country ski and snowshoe by the stars 6 – 8 pm.

February 2: Polar Bear Ski Club Biathlon, Cross-Country and Bill Koch Youth Races.


Feb 8: Polar Bear Council Race at 9:30am

February 14-16: Winter Carnival. Competitions, ski races, fun and fireworks.

Sat  Feb 15 -Mountainman - McCauley Mountain Quest Snowshoe Race: A meandering climb that will test fitness levels, and bring you close to the summit of McCauley Mountain, followed by a lightning fast quad-busting descent. For additional information, please phone 315-369-2300 or e-mail:


March: Ski McCauley Mountain Cross-Country Trails for FREE the month of March.

March 14 & 15:  St Paddy Weekend:  Ski Green for $17.  Also, you can buy your 2014-2015 season pass and ski for the rest of the 2013-2014 season for free.

March 15:  Citizens Downhill Ski Race Weekend

March 16: Mohawk Valley Council Race at 9:30am

March 16:  Pond Skimming.  Wear your wildest and zaniest ski outfit and skim across the pond. Lucky Duck Raffle to benefit the Old Forge Ski Patrol.

March 29: Snowmaker's Ball.

March 30: North East Regional Pond Skimming Championships (NERPS)


April 5-6: Last Weekend of Skiing.  Adults ski for $10, kids for $5.
